Ted Talk: A Next-Gen Cure for Killer Infections

A Next Gen-Cure For Killer Infections

This Ted Talk was interesting to me due to the fact that tough infections are becoming immune to antibiotics making it harder to fight the illness. Kary Mullis lead the discussion which he unveiled a new cure that seemed like it would be a successful breakthrough in medicine. The drug works by binding to surface proteins and other bacteria to fight the infection. With this potential cure for all kinds of infections could be the key to the future of medicine.
